El estado de Yucatán es el rey indiscutible de los ya muy conocidos "cenotes", habiendo en este cerca de 8000 ya identificados y quedando muchos por descubrir, ya que un gran número estos al estar bajo tierra hace que sea más difícil encontrarlos. Exploración Enduro ha tenido la fortuna de toparse con varios aún vírgenes en sus aventuras por Yucatán. También se pueden encontrar lagunas y aguadas que son como cenotes en la superficie de grandes dimensiones pudiendo alcanzar áreas de hasta más de 6000 metros cuadrados.
